Animobile
The Animobile is a travelling workshop around animation cinema. Over 6 days groups of children make their own films discovering along the way the various stages involved :- invention of a story
- creation of a storyboard
- the making of sets and characters
- the shooting of the film
- the creation of a soundtrack
Le Bazar Animé
Using the themes of integration of immigrant populations, collective memoir and multiculture the bazar works in the form of a joint project to create an animation.Using educational techniques and by creating various short, comical animations the public take part and discover some of the pillars of animated cinema.

Grand Schmurtz
This a show that has been created to take place outside the usual confines of cinemas or enclosed spaces.The Big Schmurtz works with the participation of the general public to create an animation film in the heart of a town. All the necessary equipment is installed before the public’s eyes (camera, video projector, lighting etc) and the public take part themselves in the creation of animated sequences, which produce, temporarily, exciting upheavals in the everyday habits of a community.
Camera Infernale
The Infernal Camera is a show that produces live and direct in public, short animated sequences to discover the tricks of horror movie special effects. Rather like the fairground photo booths in its visual concept the Menagerie adds movement and special effects that are guaranteed to turn heads!Special Operations:

La Ménagerie, en partenariat avec la médiathèque et le service culturel de Tournefeuille a mis en place un programme d'activités à la découverte du cinéma d'animation : ateliers, station de tournage, résidences et rencontres d'artistes.Huesca
Séquence espagnole... Dans le cadre d'un programme européen d'échanges culturels entre la ville de Tournefeuille et l'Ayuntamiento de Huesca (Aragon), La ménagerie a mené deux ateliers d'initiation au cinéma d'animation.Du grain à démoudre
Du 3 au 10 novembre 2006, les intervenants de La Ménagerie sont allés initier la population de Gonfreville-l'Orcher (76) des plus jeunes au moins jeunes, à l'occasion de la 7e édition du festival de cinéma "Du grain à démoudre". Le public a ainsi pu découvrir toutes les astuces et trucages d'un tournage en pixilation autour de la thématique du voyage. Durant la semaine les ateliers n'ont pas désempli : dessin animé, papier découpé, pâte à modeler, pixilation, grattage et peinture sur pelicule...Retrouvez les séquences ainsi réalisées en cliquant ici! 5e Fête du cinéma d'animation
La 5e Fête du cinéma d'animation s'est déroulée du 18 au 31 octobre dans toute la France, autour de la Journée Mondiale du Cinéma d'Animation, le 28 octobre (date anniversaire des premières projections des pantomimes lumineuses d'Emile Raynaud au musée Grévin en 1892, précurseur du film d'animation).En attendant la 6e édition, n'hésitez pas à jeter un coup d'oeil à la programmation régionale de la 5e 5e Fête du cinéma d'animation et à apporter vos idées en vue de la 6e !
